     19-20-902. Allowance for disability retirement. Upon retirement for disability, a member must receive a disability retirement allowance equal to:
     (1) one-sixtieth of the member's average final compensation multiplied by the sum of the number of years of creditable service, service transferred under 19-20-409, and additional service purchased under 19-20-412, if the retirement allowance exceeds one-fourth of the member's average final compensation; or
     (2) a pension that, together with the member's annuity, provides a total retirement allowance equal to one-fourth of the member's average final compensation.
