20-32-103. Fee collection and disposition for operational costs. As a condition of participation in the network, the Montana university system and community colleges shall collect from appropriate discretionary funds in a manner approved by the board of regents an amount not to exceed $5 for each full-time equivalent student enrolled in the units or colleges. The funds collected must be deposited with the commissioner of higher education by July 1 for the purposes of 20-32-102(4). The commissioner of higher education shall pay the department of administration the commissioner's share of the network costs.
