     23-2-705. Liability limits. The board, individual board members, technical advisers appointed by the board, and any independent contractor with whom the board contracts must be provided all protections of governmental immunity granted to public employees by 2-9-305, including but not limited to the provision of legal defense, the payment of court costs, and the payment of judgments and settlements. These protections are provided only with regard to actions brought because of acts or omissions committed by such persons in the course of official tramway duties.
