     35-21-416. Commission or rebate for sale -- misdemeanor -- exception. It shall be unlawful for a mausoleum-columbarium authority to pay or offer to pay to any person, firm, or corporation, directly or indirectly, a commission or bonus or rebate or other thing of value for the sale of a plot or services. This shall not apply to a person regularly employed by the mausoleum-columbarium authority or to any bona fide agent of the authority previously appointed for such purpose. Each person violating this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and each violation shall constitute a separate offense.
