7-6-4113. Filing of annual financial statement -- exception. (1) The city or town clerk shall, within 120 days following the close of each fiscal year, transmit one copy of the statement to the department of commerce and shall present the other copy to the city or town council or commission.
     (2) This section does not apply to a city or town that has adopted the alternative accounting method provided for in Title 7, chapter 6, part 6.
