     7-8-2217. Procedure for sale of property of lesser value. (1) If the property to be sold is reasonably of a value of less than $2,500, sale thereof may be had at either public or private sale, as in the discretion of the board of county commissioners may appear to be to the best interests of the county.
     (2) If it be at public sale, notice shall be given by posting in five public places in the county at least 5 days before the date of sale.
