     70-9-207. Property held by court or public officer or agency. (1) All intangible personal property held for the owner by any court, public corporation, public authority, or public officer of this state or a political subdivision thereof that has remained unclaimed by the owner for more than 5 years is presumed abandoned.
     (2) All intangible personal property held for the owner by any court, department, agency, or officer of the United States, that has remained unclaimed by the owner for more than 5 years is presumed abandoned when the records of the holder indicate that the last-known address of the owner is in this state.
