77-6-305. Settlement regarding improvements prerequisite to issuance of new lease. Before a lease is issued to the new lessee, the lessee shall show that the former lessee has been paid the value of the improvements pursuant to 77-6-302 or as determined under 77-6-306 or that the former lessee elects to remove the improvements.
