A Bill for an Act entitled: "An Act allowing a county to retain fees for GVW permits issued by a county; and amending section

61-10-126, MCA."

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Montana:

Section 1.  Section 61-10-126, MCA, is amended to read:

"61-10-126.   Deposit of fees. All fees (1) Fees collected under 61-10-101 through 61-10-104 and 61-10-106 through 61-10-125 by the department of transportation or its agent must be forwarded to the state treasurer for deposit in the highway nonrestricted account in the state special revenue fund.

(2) Fees collected under 61-10-101 through 61-10-104 and 61-10-106 through 61-10-125 by a county must be forwarded to the county treasurer for deposit in the county road fund."
