     32-2-307. Reports and examinations by department confidential. (1) An employee or agent of the department who fails to keep secret the facts and information obtained in the course of an examination or by reason of his official position, except when the public duty of that officer requires him to report upon or take official action regarding the affairs of the association so examined, or willfully makes a false official report as to the conditions of the association shall be removed from office and shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned in the penitentiary not less than 2 years or more than 5 years, or both.
     (2) Nothing in this section prevents the proper exchange of information relating to building and loan associations and their business with the representatives of building and loan departments of other states, but in no case shall the private business or affairs of an individual, association, or company be disclosed.
