     33-1-304. Delegation of authority -- responsibility. (1) The commissioner may delegate to any deputy, assistant, examiner, or employee of his department the exercise or discharge in the commissioner's name of any power, duty, or function, whether ministerial or discretionary, vested by this code in the commissioner.
     (2) The commissioner shall be responsible for the official acts of his deputy, assistant, examiner, or employee acting in the commissioner's name and by his authority.
