     46-8-114. Time and method of payment. When a defendant is sentenced to pay the costs of court-appointed counsel, the court may order payment to be made within a specified period of time or in specified installments. Payments must be made to the clerk of the district court. The clerk of the district court shall distribute the payments to the government agency responsible for the expense of court-appointed counsel as provided for in 46-8-201.
