     53-2-609. Revocation of assistance. If the county department or department of public health and human services has reason to believe, by reason of a complaint or otherwise, that public assistance under this title has been improperly granted, it shall have an investigation made. If it appears as a result of an investigation that the assistance was improperly granted, the department of public health and human services shall notify the county department that further payments may not be authorized for the recipient. The right of appeal is granted recipients whose assistance has been revoked.
