     7-14-2763. Retirement of outstanding bonds. (1) Whenever there is money in the fund against which the bonds have been issued over and above the amount sufficient for the payment of interest on all unpaid bonds, it shall be used to pay the principal on one or more of the bonds. The treasurer shall call in and pay the bonds in their numerical order.
     (2) The call shall be published in the official county newspaper on the day following the maturity date of the installment of assessment or as soon thereafter as practicable. It shall state that special bonds No. .... (giving the serial number or numbers of the bonds called) of the district will be paid on the day the next interest coupons become due. Interest upon the bonds thus called shall cease upon that date.
