     7-3-1246. General duties of manager. It shall be the duty of the manager to act as chief conservator of the peace within the municipality, to supervise the administration of the affairs of the municipality, to see that the ordinances of the municipality and the laws of the state are enforced, to make such recommendations to the commission concerning the affairs of the municipality as may seem to him desirable, to keep the commission advised of the financial conditions and future needs of the municipality, to prepare and submit to the commission such reports as may be required by that body, and to perform such other duties as may be prescribed by this part or part 13 or be required of him by ordinance or resolution of the commission.
