     81-2-509. Cooking or other treatment of garbage. All garbage, regardless of previous processing, shall, before being fed to swine or other animals, be thoroughly heated to at least 212 degrees F for at least 30 minutes, unless treated in some other manner which is approved in writing by the department as being equally effective for the protection of public and animal health.
