     85-7-1436. Sale of bonds. (1) Bonds authorized to be issued may be sold at a price less than face value if the issuer determines that the sale is in the best interests of the irrigation district.
     (2) (a) The bonds may be sold at private sale to the United States or the state of Montana or an agency, instrumentality, or corporation thereof.
     (b) If not sold to the United States or the state of Montana or an agency, instrumentality, or corporation thereof, the bonds must be sold at public sale after notice as provided in 85-7-1437.
