     16-11-148. Violation a misdemeanor unless otherwise provided -- penalties. Unless otherwise provided, the violation of any provision of this part constitutes a misdemeanor. A person violating any provision of this part shall be punished by a fine of not less than $100 or more than $500 or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than 30 days or more than 6 months, or both. If the person is the holder of a license issued under this part, the license must be revoked by the department for 1 year.
