A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FOR SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN RECIPIENT PURCHASES AT FARMERS' MARKETS."



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. There is appropriated the following amounts to the department of public health and human services for special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children recipients to purchase food at local farmers' markets:

FY 2002 General Fund $ 40,000

FY 2002     Federal Special Revenue 93,350

FY 2003 General Fund 60,000

FY 2003 Federal Special Revenue 140,000
