     44-1-803. Rights of accused. The accused patrol officer shall be entitled to be confronted with the witnesses against him and have an opportunity to cross-examine the same and to introduce at such hearing testimony in his own behalf. He shall be entitled to be represented by counsel, at his own expense, at such hearing.
