HOUSE BILL NO. 111

A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT LIMITING THE NUMBER OF BILLS A LEGISLATOR MAY INTRODUCE TO 10; AND PROVIDING AN EXCEPTION FOR BILLS INTRODUCED AT THE REQUEST OF A STATE GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Bill introduction restrictions. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), a legislator may not introduce more than 10 bills in a legislative session.

     (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to bills that are designated as introduced at the request of a state governmental entity.

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 5, chapter 4, part 1, and the provisions of Title 5, chapter 4, part 1, apply to [section 1].
