A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING HOSPICE SERVICES UNDER THE MONTANA MEDICAID PROGRAM; AND PROVIDING A CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. There is appropriated from the general fund to the department of public health and human services $174,666 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2003, and $193,048 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004. The appropriations in this section must be used for hospice care as provided in 53-6-101(3)(m).

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Contingent effective date. If House Bill No. 215 is passed and approved, then [this act] is effective July 1, 2003. If House Bill No. 215 is not passed and approved, then [this act] is void.
