     40-5-146. Procedure when exercising jurisdiction over nonresident. A tribunal of this state exercising personal jurisdiction over a nonresident pursuant to 40-5-145 may apply 40-5-175 to receive evidence from another state and 40-5-177 to obtain discovery through a tribunal of another state. In all other respects, 40-5-158 through 40-5-166, 40-5-170 through 40-5-180, and 40-5-183 through 40-5-186 do not apply and the tribunal shall apply the procedural and substantive law of this state, including the rules on choice of law other than those established by this part.
