     7-2-2255. Transfer of court files and actions. (1) The files of all actions in the office of the clerk of the district court of the old county, whether reduced to judgment or pending, for the recovery of the possession of, quieting the title to, or the enforcement of liens upon real estate lying wholly in the new county or any other actions affecting real estate lying wholly in the new county shall be delivered by the clerk of the district court of the old county to the clerk of the district court of the new county to be kept and preserved by him as permanent files of such new county, to the end that only the minutes and other entries in books kept by the clerk of the district court need be transcribed.
     (2) All actions pending in the district court of the old county or counties for the recovery of the possession of quieting title to or the enforcement of liens upon real estate lying wholly in the new county or any other actions affecting real estate lying wholly in the new county shall, forthwith upon the delivery of the files in said action to the clerk of the district court of the new county as provided in subsection (1), be transferred to the district court in which the new county may be attached for judicial purposes and thereafter shall be subject to the same laws as if said action had been originally brought in the district court of the new county.
