HOUSE BILL NO. 480

INTRODUCED BY LAKE

 

AN ACTAPPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND RESTORATION OF THE DALY MANSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     Section 1.  Appropriation. (1) The amounts of $25,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $25,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated from the general fund to the department of commerce to be awarded to the Daly mansion preservation trust to be used for direct maintenance and restoration of the Daly mansion and grounds.

     (2) If it is determined by the personnel or officers of the Daly mansion preservation trust that the funds provided for in this section are no longer needed, the funds must be returned to the general fund.

 

     Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2007.
