Reports for the 2017 Legislative Session:

NOTE ON REPORTS: With a few exceptions, reports for the 2017 legislative session are dynamic reports. When you click a report link, the report will run and present itself on your screen -- in real-time, and up-to-date at the time it was run.

As in the past, reports are added to this list as they become relevant. For example, a Hearing Calendar is not relevant until hearings are scheduled (and their scheduled date falls within the reporting period), so will not appear on this list until that time.

Vetoed Bills Polled (PDF format). A list of the bills vetoed by the Governor AFTER session ended, which were POLLED by the Secretary of State for an override. Includes the polling results

Bills not signed by the Governor (PDF format). This list includes the bills sent to the Secretary of State by the Governor without a signature. These bills have become law, or will become law, without the Governor's signature.

Governor's Amended/Vetoed Bills (PDF format). All bills that have had Governor's proposed amendments and/or have been vetoed by the Governor this session (straight vetoes, line-item vetoes, proposed amendments (amendatory vetoes), or all).

Session Law In Bill Order
Session Law In Chapter Order (PDF format). Session laws are bills passed by the legislature that have been become law, with a chapter number assigned by the Secretary of State. These .pdf reports list each session law chapter number, its associated bill number, and the session law effective date(s).

Conflict Checking Report (PDF format). This file contains a list of MCA code sections amended or repealed by multiple bills/bill drafts in the current session. It is used for conflict checking.

Code Sections Affected #1 (PDF format). This file contains a list of the MCA being amended or repealed in the current session, for all 'Active' Introduced Bills (ie., bill that are active or have already become law).

Code Sections Affected #2 (PDF format). This file contains a list of the MCA being amended or repealed in the current session for all Introduced Bills, including tabled and probably dead (i.e., includes introduced bills that did not become law).

Cumulative Daily Introduced Bills (PDF Format) Lists information about each introduced bill. This list is sorted by the bill number within the date it was introduced.

Introduced Bill Statistics (PDF format). Current statistics of all introduced bills in the Legislative process.

Cumulative Bill Draft Request List (PDF Format) Lists information about each bill draft request. This list is sorted by the bill draft request number (LC number).

Bill Draft Requests by Subject List (PDF Format) Lists information about bill draft requests, sorted by subject category.

Bill Draft Requests "By Request Of" List (PDF Format) Lists information about those bill draft requests which have been requested on behalf of an agency, legislative committee, or public office. This list is sorted by the "By Request Of" entity.
