A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REVISING GAME FARM LICENSE ANNUAL RENEWAL FEES; PROVIDING A CONTINGENT VOIDNESS PROVISION; AND AMENDING SECTION 87-4-411, MCA."



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     Section 1.  Section 87-4-411, MCA, is amended to read:

     "87-4-411.  License and renewal fees -- deposit of fees. (1) The department shall charge an initial game farm license fee and an annual renewal fee based on the following scale:

     (a)  a game farm with 1 to 20 game farm animals, an initial license fee of $200 and an annual renewal fee of $50 $300;

     (b)  a game farm with 21 to 60 game farm animals, an initial license fee of $300 and an annual renewal fee of $100 $600; and

     (c)  a game farm with more than 60 game farm animals, an initial license fee of $400 and an annual renewal fee of $200 $1,200.

     (2)  The fees must be deposited in the state special revenue fund for the use of the department for purposes of this part."



     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Contingent voidness. If Constitutional Amendment No. 75, enacting Article VIII, section 17, of the Montana constitution, is not declared invalid, then [this act] is void.
