AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY TO INCREASE SILICOSIS BENEFITS BY $25 A MONTH FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL RECEIVING BENEFITS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     Section 1.  Appropriation. The following money is appropriated from the general fund to the department of labor and industry to fund an increase of $25 a month for each individual who receives silicosis benefits:

     Fiscal year 2000 $27,300

     Fiscal year 2001 $27,300



     Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 1999.
