AN ACT REPEALING THE STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR BRUCELLOSIS VACCINATION OF IMPORTED LIVESTOCK; ALLOWING BRUCELLOSIS VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS TO BE ADOPTED BY RULE RATHER THAN BY STATUTE; AND REPEALING SECTIONS 81-2-801 AND 81-2-805, MCA.



     WHEREAS, the pilot program to clarify and standardize regulations regarding the brucellosis vaccination of cattle imported into Montana has been successful; and

     WHEREAS, requirements for the brucellosis vaccination of imported cattle may be more appropriately addressed through the rulemaking authority in 81-2-102 through 81-2-104, rather than by statute.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     Section 1.  Repealer. Sections 81-2-801 and 81-2-805, MCA, are repealed.
