In Montana, the Districting and Apportionment Commission has the constitutional authority to perform congressional and legislative redistricting. The Legislative Services Division provides staff support to the Commission. The Commission must complete its work to be presented to the 2003 Legislature for review. The Legislative plan will become law in late winter/early spring 2003 for the 2004 election cycle.
