Montana Medical Marijuana Act

In revamping the Montana Medical Marijuana Act in 2011, the Legislature specifically required the Children, Families, Health, and Human Services Interim Committee to monitor the implementation of the law and to draft legislation if members believe changes to the law are necessary. Senate Bill 333 in 2017 expanded state regulation of the medical marijuana program and instituted a tax on gross sales. It also increased the committee's monitoring duties. Materials related to the committee's monitoring are provided below.
