Meeting This Week to Focus on Public Retirement Systems

The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee of the Montana Legislature will meet Thursday and Friday in Helena to continue its study of the state's public retirement systems.

The committee will meet both days in Room 137 of the State Capitol in Helena, convening Oct. 29 at 8:30 a.m. and Oct. 30 at 9 a.m.

Committee staff will present the results of recent actuarial valuations of Montana's public retirement systems, as well as other information related to a study of the retirement systems authorized by the 2009 Legislature with passage of House Bill 659.
