The FutureFisheriesReviewPanel isresponsiblefor assistingthe Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks in reviewingprojects submitted by public or private entities forfunding, and determining which projects are appropriatefor inclusion in the future fisheries improvementprogram.
The Speaker of the House and the Senate Committee onCommittees each choose one member to serve on thePanel. Eight other members, representing agriculturaland recreational interests, are appointed by theGovernor. The Panel is required to meet at least onceevery six months.
