NOTE: The 58th Legislature passed Senate Bill No 258 which became law on February 4, 2003. The Legislature will be considering a bill to repeal the Commisison's holdover assignments and a resolution to adopt new holdover assignments in the event that the current plan becomes law. If the current plan does not become law, the Legislature will have to reassign holdovers after a new plan is developed.
