Proposed Legislation

The Children and Families committee took public comment and approved three bill drafts at its March 17, 2008, meeting. The bills all correct inconsistencies within existing laws or in legislation approved during the 2007 legislative session.

LC 41:Clarify exclusions from dangerous drug schedules
LC 42: Repeal the sunset provision of the hospital bed tax
LC 43: Clarify duration of caretaker relative educational authorization affidavit

The committee's action was based on a staff report and recommendation explaining the need for the changes.
