The Economic Affairs Interim Committee (EAIC) will have its first meeting of the interim between legislative sessions on June 14, 2017. The meeting will be in Room 137 of the State Capitol in Helena, starting at 12:30 p.m.

This initial meeting will focus on organizational tasks, including election of officers, designation of legislative liaisons for the Montana State Fund, the Rail Service Competition Council, and a subcommittee of the Legislative Finance Committee looking into livestock and agriculture laboratories. The committee also will refine a proposed work plan for assigned studies and agency monitoring duties plus designate any additional member research topics.

Time for public comment will be provided. Public comment guidelines are on the committee website. The committee website also lists the eight members of the committee from the minority and majority parties of the House and Senate.
