10-4-301. Establishment of emergency telecommunications account. A 9-1-1 emergency telecommunications account is established in the state special revenue fund in the state treasury. All money received by the department of revenue pursuant to 10-4-201 must be paid to the state treasurer for deposit in the account. After payment of refunds pursuant to 10-4-205, the balance of the account must be used for the purposes described in part 1 of this chapter. The distribution of the 9-1-1 emergency telecommunications account, according to the requirements of 10-4-302, is statutorily appropriated. Expenditures for actual and necessary expenses required for the efficient administration of the plan must be made from temporary appropriations, as described in 17-7-501(1) or (2), made for that purpose.
