     17-3-221. State treasurer to be custodian of moneys received under Taylor Grazing Act. The state treasurer shall be the custodian of all moneys that the treasurer of the United States may transfer to the state of Montana under the terms of section 10 of the Taylor Grazing Act approved June 28, 1934, (Public No. 482), which provides that the secretary of the United States treasury pay one-half of the moneys received from each grazing district each year to the state where collected, to be expended as the legislature may prescribe.
