19-2-801. Designation of beneficiary. In the absence of any statutorily designated persons, the beneficiaries of a member are the natural persons, charitable organizations, or trusts for the benefit of natural living persons that the member designates on the membership card. Unless otherwise provided by statute, a member may revoke the designation and name different beneficiaries by filing a new membership card with the board.
