     20-9-453. Duty of board of county commissioners to call election and issue bonds. Immediately upon the receipt of any bond proposition request from the trustees of the county high school, it shall be the duty of the board of county commissioners to submit such question to the qualified electors of the county in the manner otherwise provided by law for the submission of the proposition of the issuance of other county bonds. If a majority of the qualified electors of the county voting upon the proposition so submitted shall approve such issue, then the board of county commissioners shall issue and market the bonds authorized as in the case of other county bonds.
