     41-5-205. Retention of jurisdiction -- termination. Once a court obtains jurisdiction over a youth, the court retains jurisdiction unless terminated by the court or by mandatory termination in the following cases:
     (1) at the time the proceedings are transferred to adult criminal court;
     (2) at the time the youth is discharged by the department; and
     (3) in any event, at the time the youth reaches the age of 21 years.
