     45-9-112. Criminal sale of imitation dangerous drug -- penalty. (1) A person commits the offense of criminal sale of an imitation dangerous drug if he knowingly or purposely sells, barters, exchanges, gives away, or offers to sell, barter, exchange, or give away any imitation dangerous drug.
     (2) A person convicted of criminal sale of an imitation dangerous drug to a person 18 years of age or older shall be imprisoned in the state prison for a term of not more than 5 years and may be fined not more than $50,000.
     (3) A person convicted of criminal sale of an imitation dangerous drug to a person under the age of 18 shall be imprisoned in the state prison for a term of not more than 10 years and may be fined not more than $50,000.
