     50-62-101. Entering of buildings for purpose of examination authorized. The officers of the state fire prevention and investigation program of the department of justice or the chief of the fire department of each municipality or district where a fire department is established at all reasonable hours may, as authorized by law, enter into all buildings and upon all premises within his jurisdiction for the purpose of determining whether the building or premise conforms to laws and rules relating to fire hazards and fire safety.
