     50-71-302. Notice of hearing on rules and codes. Upon the fixing of a time and place for the holding of a public hearing for the purpose of considering and issuing rules and codes as authorized in this chapter, the department shall cause a notice of the hearing to be published in one or more daily newspapers of general circulation published in this state and in such other papers of general circulation in this state as the department may deem expedient. The notice shall contain a brief statement of the time, place, and purpose of the hearing. No defect or inaccuracy in the notice or in the publication thereof shall invalidate any rule or code issued or adopted by the department after the hearing.
