53-30-101. Location and function of prison and women's correctional system. (1) The institution at Deer Lodge is the state prison and as its primary function provides facilities for the custody, treatment, training, and rehabilitation of adult male criminal offenders.
     (2) The institution located in Billings is the women's correctional system, and its primary function is to provide facilities for the custody, treatment, training, and rehabilitation of adult female criminal offenders.
