     72-14-210. Expendable trust fund money to be held in trust -- deposit in public school nonexpendable trust fund. Money and property placed in the expendable trust fund must be held in trust for a period of 5 years prior to deposit in the public school nonexpendable trust fund by the state treasurer. The expendable trust is for the benefit of persons who claim property pursuant to part 3 of this chapter. A claim may be brought for an amount equal to the full amount or value of the property escheated minus the costs and expenses incident to reducing the property to the possession of the state.
