A Bill for an Act entitled: "An Act appropriating money for the operation of the legislature; and providing an immediate effective date."

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Montana:

NEW SECTION. Section 1.  Appropriation. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund for fiscal years 1997, 1998, and 1999 for the operation of the 55th legislature and costs of preparing for the 56th legislature:

LEGISLATIVE BRANCH (1104)

1. Senate (25) $1,622,683

2. House of Representatives (26) 2,671,637

3. Legislative Services Division Feed Bill (22) 634,839

NEW SECTION. Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
