     39-72-103. No vested right to compensation. The right to the compensation provided for herein shall not nor shall the rate or amount thereof be or become vested or continuing rights in persons awarded compensation under this chapter or any amendment hereof, but the state reserves the right, by act of the legislature, to reduce the rate or amount of compensation thereafter to be received by any person theretofore or thereafter receiving compensation under this chapter or any amendment hereof or to wholly discontinue to all persons all compensation provided for by this chapter or any amendment hereof.
