     61-8-804. Suspension of commercial driver's license -- felony involving a controlled substance while driving a commercial vehicle. If the department receives information that a commercial motor vehicle operator has been convicted of using a commercial motor vehicle in the commission of a felony involving the manufacture, distribution, or dispensing of a controlled substance, as defined by federal regulations, or a felony involving possession with intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense a controlled substance, the department shall suspend the operator's commercial driver's license for life.
