     76-1-107. Role of planning board in relation to subdivisions and plats. The governing body of any city, town, or county which has formed a planning board and adopted a comprehensive plan and subdivision regulations pursuant to this chapter and chapter 3 shall seek the advice of the appropriate planning board in all matters pertaining to the approval or disapproval of plats or subdivisions.
